The client's desires for this project were to integrate porch into interior living area and thus creating new space for the dining room. An exterior deck was created with remodeled stairs, leading to a new patio area. In order to open up the floor plan even more, the wall between living room and former porch was eliminated, improving general flow in social areas. The kitchen was remodeled, and to help the dark ambience, lighting was updated and two solar tube skylights were added. Main bathroom was updated by substituting the ceramic floors with hard wood, tying it in with the rest of the house.  Furthermore, the cabinets were painted, and crown molding and wall paneling were added.
